The Mourisca Wind Farm, with an installed capacity of 38 MW, is located in Serra da Almofala, in the municipalities of Castro Daire and Vila Nova de Paiva, in the district of Viseu. It is composed of 19 Gamesa G87 wind turbines with a nominal capacity of 2 MW and began commercial operation in January 2007. The asset represented an investment of EUR 38 million.

The average annual production is estimated at 84,400 MWh which is approximately the electricity consumption of Castro Daire and São Pedro do Sul.
